    Helena Berlanga took her degree in Industrial Engineering from the UPC (Polytechnic University of Catalonia) School of Industrial Engineering in Barcelona. In 2007, she was awarded an Erasmus grant to study at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Electrotechnique, d'Electronique, d'Informatique, d'Hydraulique et des Télécommunications (ENSEEIHT) in Toulouse, where she completed here end-of-course project at the LISBP laboratory (Laboratoire d'Ingénierie des Sytèmes Biologiques et des Procédés), attached to the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA).

In 2006, she worked as an intern in the Product Certification Department of the Catalan Institute of Construction Technology (ITeC).

Helena joined ERF as an environmental technician in January 2008, working on projects related to sustainable construction and energy and environmental certification systems for buildings, and to the environmental management of buildings in general.

A keen film and sports fan, she turns out to play for her basketball team every week.
