    Forestry Engineer (1996, specialising in Environmental Management), Agricultural Engineer (1993) and Master in Remote Sensing from the Catalan Institute of Space Studies (1997). Skilled in such transversal fields and environmental consultancy, geomatics and exhibition production, Laura Reņaga has worked for ERF Gestiķ i Comunicaciķ Ambiental, SL since 1999, holding the post of exhibition project director since September 2005.

Her work in the museum science field includes the coordination of several exhibitions on environmental themes. These include the travelling exhibition Mediterrānia: Territori i Paisatge (Mediterranean: territory and landscape, 2000), for the Territori i Paisatge Foundation, based on the Mediterranean environmental atlas, which she co-authored; the exhibition La Terra des del Cel (The earth from the sky, 2000), for Barcelona City Council Institute of Culture, based on aerial photographs from all over the world by Yann Arthus-Bertrand; the exhibition El territori canviant d'Europe (The changing territory of Europe, 2002) for the European Environment Agency; and the conceptual preliminary project for the exhibition País, paisaje, paisanaje (Country, landscape, population, June 2006), for the Caixa de Catalunya Territori i Paisatge Foundation. She is currently the coordinator of the exhibition Tu en el mķn teu (You in your world) on everyday ecology for Caixa de Terrassa's social wing or Obra Social.

Has taken part in many regional and environmental planning and management projects, including the Vulnerability Index for the Territorial Matrix (2004) for the Department of Territorial Policy and Public Works (DPTOP) and the Environment and Housing Department (DMAH) of the Generalitat of Catalonia; Territorial Sustainability in Catalonia (2003) for the DPTOP, a study containing many maps, for which she was responsible; Improving Environmental Waste Management at the Santa Caterina and Barceloneta Markets (2004) for Barcelona City Council's Municipal Institute for Markets; Green Acropolis. A Sustainable Observatory and Park in the Heights of Montjuīc (1999) for Barcelona City Council; and Environmental Impact of the Construction of Barcelona Airport's Third Runway on Neighbouring Protected Natural Areas (1999) for AENA.

In the town planning field, she has worked to include socio-environmental criteria in such projects as the Environmental Report on the Programme for Municipal Urban Development in Gavā (2004) for Gavā Local Authority; the Environmental Report on Modification of Town Planning in Sant Pau de Riu Sec (Sabadell) (2003) for Sabadell City Council; the Environmental Report on the Partial Plan for the Riera de Sant Llorenį Sector (Gavā) (2002) for Gavā Local Authority; and Greening the General Urban Development Plan in Lliįā d'Amunt (2001) for Lliįā d'Amunt Local Authority.

From 1997 to 1998, she worked for various companies in the world of digital map-making and remote sensing, taking part in projects and giving courses and seminars on both remote sensing and geographical information systems (GIS) at Carlos III University and the Army Geographical Service in Madrid, at the Andalusian Higher Marine Studies Centre (CASEM) in Cadiz and the Autonomous University of Barcelona, amongst others.
